Born and raised in the Chicago area, Chris graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 1981 with a B.S. in Mass Communication, with a specialization in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. Prior to working in finance, Chris spent most of his career in medical sales. With a long-term passion for the market and the prodding of his pastor, Chris became a financial advisor in 2002. He secured a position with a large brokerage firm and opened a branch office for them in Olmsted Falls. About four years later Chris moved down the street and started Parker Wealth Management in December 2005. He moved his practice to Berea in January 2013.
Chris holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses.
A Cleveland-area resident since college, Chris and his wife Kaycee have lived in Berea for 30 years. They have two children. Lindsey is a graduate of Northwestern University, and earned her Masters at LSU. She is currently pursuing a PhD. Eric is a graduate of the College of Wooster (Ohio). The Parkers also attend Radiant Church in Westlake.
An active member of the Olmsted Falls Kiwanis Club, Chris has served as President, a member of the Board of Directors, VP of the Student Loan and Scholarship Committee, Chair of the Public & Business Affairs Committee and Scouting Committee, and the Event Chair for numerous Kiwanis fundraisers. Chris served on the Philanthropy Development Committee for the Southwest General Hospital Foundation, and as a Board Member for the Olmsted Community Center.
Chris also volunteers on one of the course rating teams for the Northern Ohio Golf Association. His passions include spending time with family and friends, his faith, and playing a little golf.
